Major Novice MD-1, 2017-2018, MD (West London Minor Hockey)

I would like to thank all the players and their families for participating in the Major Novice Tier I tryouts this year. It has been an extremely difficult decision, which I could not have done without the assistance of my evaluators. There were many qualities that we looked for during the tryouts that would give the 15 players selected the best chances of coming together as a team. I relied heavily on their evaluations and observations to help make the selections for this team.

As we near the end of the tryout process for the Tier I team, I wanted to provide everyone with some information for the exhibition game that we have scheduled for Monday (Sept. 11th).

Thank you to everyone who came out the Major Novice Tier I tryouts this week. I have been impressed with the skill level I have witnessed from the players this year.

Since we are only a few days away from the start of the Major Novice Tier I tryouts, I would like to provide you with some additional information with regards to what to expect from this year’s tryout process.
