Mission Statement:
The purpose of the West London Minor Hockey Association (WLMHA) is to organize, develop,
and promote minor hockey for the youth of West London. WLMHA will strive to provide quality
leadership at all levels, and to develop the understanding of teamwork and sportsmanship in
an atmosphere of fun and positive reinforcement for all players and volunteers.
Our Vision:
• Provide an outstanding minor hockey experience regardless of gender, race, colour, religion, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status
• Incorporate high expectations of appropriate behavior in all venues by each player, parent and volunteer on or off the ice
• Ensure fairness, compassion and consistency are applied to all involved within the WLMHA
• Promote the value of hard work, determination, honesty, integrity, the pursuit of excellence, and ongoing skill development
• Enlisting the best coaches, officials, and support staff in the West London region
• Enhance the value of hockey by providing coaching role models who demonstrate leadership, strong work ethic, and community pride with the goal of developing strong future leaders
• Support the mandate of Hockey Canada and work with other hockey centers, Alliance Hockey, and the OHF to promote and grow minor hockey in the city of London
