Team Minor Novice:
A few of you were asking how the play-offs worked, and what we need to do to qualify to the Alliance Tournament in Stratford on April 12-14. Here's how it works:
1) We have a 10 game Round Robin series - games are now posted in bold on our website. This will seed all of the teams, with the TOP FOUR participating in the playoff round
2) Stratford is already "in", since they are hosting the Alliance Tournament - which means there is only one spot available for the West Alliance (our loop) and two spots from the East Alliance (only 4 teams participate)
3)
The highest seeded winner of the semi-final playoff (first round) qualifies and will participate in the Alliance. These are best 2 of 3 series - 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3. So if 1 beats 4, they are in. If 4 beats 1, and 2 beats 3, the 2 seed would go. Make sense?
4) The winner of the two semi-finals will play in a West Championship series - but this does NOT determine who will go to the Alliance.
