After a solid effort today, our boys qualified for the semi-final game vs Cambridge early tomorrow morning.
We managed to grab a tie vs Cambridge in round-robin play this morning - setting up a 'must-not-lose' game vs the host Stratford team this afternoon. We struggled early on, trailing 1-0 after one period, but our boys dug deep and buried two quick ones in the second period, cruising to a 5-1 final.
This sets up a rematch vs Cambridge (whom Jack tied 3-3 earlier in the day). We played them hard out of the gate, and must continue that strong effort to have a chance at the final.
If we skate, we'll win. We ALL must show up tomorrow (preferably on time - right Ben? - Noah - make sure to request that wake-up call!). It's show-time - this is what we've worked toward all season - let's make sure we have no regrets and leave it all on the ice - otherwise some of you only have 'soccer' to look forward to, and without scorekeeping, it could be a LONG summer......
