Ann Arbor Weekend
Just a little heads-up as to the basic team plans for this weekend's tournament in Ann Arbor.
We have booked a meeting room at the hotel for Friday Dec 7th from 5PM until 11PM - this room hold 25-30 people, and will be the parents "base camp" for Friday night. A poker game may break out - I'll bring the chips, you bring $10 - both will come home with me.. :-)
We also have exclusive use of the buffet/cafeteria area from 5PM until 7PM for pizza dinner for the team (it's not used once breakfast is done). I'm told this is near the meeting room. The team fund will cover the cost of this, and we'd like everyone to participate in this event if possible. Please plan accordingly.
Saturday we'll leave people to their own agenda - I'm sure some would like to do some shopping, exploring, etc between games. And we may have an EARLY game Sunday (7AM), so we don't expect too late of a night on Saturday. We still may kill a bevy or two...but we'll see.
Don't forget bathing suits for the kids. There is a pool at this hotel, and is likely what the kids will remember the most about this entire trip.
