Team is Named
"Hustle and Heart Set up Apart!" is our team motto.
Of the many aspects the players will be evaluated on, skating is the most important skill in hockey. Each session will incorporate skating drills to evaluate speed, balance, edge work. Hustle & determination are big factors that I am looking for - and you need to be able to skate to get the puck!
Heart is the desire to do well and improve every time the players are on the ice. Constant improvement, dedication, and competitiveness are attributes I am looking for in the players. Please make sure that you are listening when on the ice and paying attention in line. And always try your best!
Lastly, tryouts are a stressful time for everyone. Strive to improve every time you are on the ice and have fun. Remember to encourage your friends, celebrate nice plays (saves, goals) and enjoy the time on the ice!
Good luck to all players!
