There is only one more week until hockey season begins! As we countdown the days, hours, and minutes until we step out onto the brand new sheet of ice at the Bostwick Community Centre, here are a few things to keep in mind for tryouts:
1) Have fun!
2) Jerseys are provided for tryouts. Numbers will be posted on dressing room doors. Please make sure to hang up the jerseys after the session is complete.
3) Work hard and try your best. If you make a mistake in a drill, don't give up. I want to see how you overcome and work through the process.
4) Compete! Finish every drill right to the end. The team motto is "Hustle & Heart Set Us Apart."
5) All players are expected to bring a water bottle to tryouts.
6) Releases will occur after the 3rd session and be done through posting on the website.
7) Have fun! (I know twice) Tryouts can be stressful - so let's encourage each other to do our best and have a good time while we are on the ice and at the rink.
