Major Novice - MD-1, 2018-2019, MD (West London Minor Hockey)

The West London MD1 Team are Tournament Champions!  Through all 4 games of the round robin, the Hawks were undefeated earning them a Semi- Final game on Sunday morning against a tough Sudbury Wolves team. West London, who handled themselves well under pressure, received a well-deserved win providing them a berth in the Final on Sunday afternoon. There, they finished off a great weekend of hockey, taking home the gold after posting a 5-3 victory over a very talented George Bell Titans team. Thank all the players for the dedication and hard work that was exhibited throughout the tryouts over the last week or so. Making final releases is never easy and in this case, I have had to make some extremely tough decisions.  To those who have been released, I wish you all the best in your MD2 tryouts and the upcoming season.  I would like to congratulate the following players in being selected to represent the West London Major Novice MD1 team for the 2018-19 season:

There have been no further releases made entering in to tonight's 2nd exhibition game vs. North London. Final releases will be made by Thursday morning. Tonight's game is at Bostwick Arena at 5pm. Please have players dressed and ready 10 minutes prior to the game. The players in BOLD* will not dress for this game but are more than welcome to attend with the team:

Once again,  thank you to all the players for their effort in today's scrimmage! These decisions become more and more difficult as we progress through the tryouts. Both the evaluators and I have been very impressed with the skill level and determination we have witnessed throughout the evaluations to date.  The following players will participate in Sunday’s tryout at 12 pm, Bostwick Arena.
