Team are Tournament Champions!
Through all 4 games of the round robin, the
Hawks were undefeated earning them a Semi- Final game on Sunday morning against
a tough Sudbury Wolves team. West London, who handled themselves well under
pressure, received a well-deserved win providing them a berth in the Final on
Sunday afternoon. There, they finished off a great weekend of hockey, taking
home the gold after posting a 5-3 victory over a very talented George Bell
Titans team. The Titans played with sportsmanship and class, while making our
boys earn every inch of ice during the Final.
The Hawk's tournament wins can be attributed to incredible defence, very strong offence, and exceptional goaltending throughout all 6 games. Each player should be extremely proud of themselves, as this experience was a true testament to the dedication, hard work, skill, and talent exhibited by this great team.
What an absolutely awesome achievement by an amazing group of kids. Great work boys, you make us all very proud!
