Major Atom, 2015-2016, MD (West London Minor Hockey)

Well the boys were triumphant yet again!! Class...heart...determination...team work...and fun. So very proud of these boys...families and coaches. What a tourney! What an awesome win in the semis and then to score on a team that not one single team was able to score against during the entire weekend!!! Simply amazing!

We had a fantastic weekend in Burlington. Our boys dominated all weekend long. They put up an amazing fight and in the end they took home some Silver hardware! So great!!

I want to thank the players, families and volunteers who took part in this year's Major Atom MD tryout process. Tryouts can be a stressful time, but everyone involved on and off the ice turned this team's tryouts into a very positive experience...which was highlighted last night by the cheering outside the glass and the incredibly fun and exciting game on the ice. Please join me in congratulating the following players who have been selected for the 2015 / 2016 West London Hawks Major Atom MD team:  

I was very, very pleased with the effort against Oakridge. We played the best they had, while most of the players on our team were playing in a new position or new side of the ice. Amazing effort...amazing attitudes....amazing cheering section from the players that didn't dress. Class act boys!! The first 17 players listed below will be dressing for the 2nd game against Oakridge on Wednesday night. Anyone not dressing for the game will be expected to be outside the glass, cheering on your fellow Hawks: 

First off, I want to thank every single player and family for taking part in the Major Atom MD try outs. The attitude, effort and skill level of the boys has impressed myself, the evaluators and anyone who has watched our try outs. I told the boys before our first try out that all I wanted was for them to bring their best effort...and they did! For the record...these first decisions were very difficult because of how talented all of the boys are, how well they got along on the bench and on the ice...and their willingness to listen to coaching, play a different position and just work ...
