Major Atom Hawks Take Home Silver at MD CUP!
We had a fantastic weekend in Burlington. Our boys dominated all weekend long. They put up an amazing fight and in the end they took home some Silver hardware! So great!!
Congratulations to both Mitchell and Grady for both snapping up hat tricks throughtout the Tournament. One of our biggest success stories was when Grady scored the winning goal with 42 seconds left in our game against Brantford in the semi's allowing us to carry on to the championship game. Wow, I needed a nap after that game! Lol!! Team MVP was also eventually awarded to Grady O'Hara for his efforts!! Huge kudos must be mentioned to little BB Gun for skating over to the net after the game had ended against Brantford and asking the ref if he could take the puck to give it to Grady. Very classy!!
As we have mentioned over and over again. It is so wonderful to watch these kids having so much fun, yet so focused. The morale that these kids possess in and out of the dressing room is something very special. We witnesed them recite the walk on intro in unison, "word for word" before the Brantford game in the dressing room. There's no way you could sit through that without getting chills!!
So proud of all of our boys for giving it all they've got 110% of the time and always keeping it classy on and off the ice!!!! Way to go boys!!!!!!! GO HAWKS!!
