Hi Everyone, I wanted to thank everyone for participating in a busy weekend. The coaches are really excited to work with these young men. I would like to thank the parents that were part of of our meeting last night. It was nice to meet the new faces on the team this year. Please remind your player that they need to bring their own practice jersey, water bottle and gym clothes to today's meeting and skate. We will be doing some outdoor activity as well, should the sizing not go on too long. Also I have access to a company that can do custom water bottles name number and team logo on lid and bottle with pro spout. We would have to order 18 but it would only cost 10.99. This is always a difficult time with Competitive hockey, and the tryout process. This years tryouts proved to be the most challenging for the coaches and those involved in evaluating that we have had in some time. I would like to thank the kids for making our job so hard. They did exactly what they were supposed to do. For those not selected, it does not diminish the fact that you are very good hockey players, and you will be an asset to the team that you will be playing for. I would like to welcome the players and their families to this years West London Minor Midget MD team:

We have one skate remaining for our tryout process. This is a busy time of year for our players with school academics as well as school sports starting up. We have been impressed with what the kids have done on the ice, and realize that in many ways this is a mini camp for the players to get their legs under them again. That's one of the reasons why it was important to me not to make any roster reductions until after the final skate. We would like to see the following players in the line up tomorrow night. 

We have two ex. games this week. One will be tomorrow night and the second will be on our final ice time on Thursday the 14th. It is my intention to announce the team Thursday night following this skate. We will jump into the season right away with a parent meeting on Friday the 15th from 7-8pm at Kinsmen arena upstairs. We encourage at least one parent to plan to attend. We will be having our player meeting on Saturday from 230-430 also upstairs before our first official practice.
