Major Novice MD-2, 2016-2017, MD (West London Minor Hockey)

Amazing accomplishment for our Novice MD2 kids this week.  Regular season Champs, Playoff Champs, and now West Alliance Playdown League Champs.  An awesome achievement by an amazing group of kids! ! A great job by our friendly foes the London Bandits who played with sportsmanship and class and made our kids earn every inch of ice in the Final. "Who are we?" - HAWKS! "Who are we?" - HAWKS! "What do we do?" - FLY!FLY!FLY!

Thanks again to PJ, Rhys, and Jack for doing a great job last month being Coaches' Assistants.  You guys worked hard and were positive influences for your teammates setting a great example. Our last two Coaches A's for the year just happen to be our last line of defence.  Congratulations to Kalia and Warren for having been chosen as this months A's.  Keep up the hard work, keep smiling, and help lead these young Hawks deep into the playoffs and beyond. Congrats to Peter John, Rhys, and Jack for having been chosen as this months Coaches Assistants.  Keep playing hard, leading by example on and off the ice, and coming to the rink with a smile on your faces.  Great job guys! A job well done by our December Coaches' A's Liam, Sawyer, and Spencer.  Thanks for your hard work and leadership this month which saw the young Hawks go undefeated and win their second tournament of the season at the 50th Hespeler Olympics over Christmas break.  The MD2 Hawks also clinched top spot to win the league regular season. Congratulations to our new A's for the month Evan, Cam, and Will.  Continue working hard and setting good examples on and off the ice for your teammates.

The kids have been working hard all month at games and practices and continue to take shape as a TEAM. Everyone has been contributing and earlier last month the kids took home the 1st place trophy by winning the North London Classic.  Way to go kids! Keep it up! A big thank you to Brody, Matthew, and Aidan for their leadership and positive attitudes as Coaches  "A's" through the month of November.  Good job guys!
