Major Novice MD-1, 2016-2017, MD (West London Minor Hockey)

Once again the MD1 Team are tournament champions. The Hawks were put to the test and faced some of the best AAA teams in the area. Over the grueling 6 games, the Hawks only trailed once. They scored a total of 35 goals for and allowed only 15 goals against. Winning the their championship game 6-2 against a talented Burlington Eagle team. A combination of incredible defence, strong offence, and exceptional goaltending between the pipes were the contributing factors to their outstanding success.

Hi Families, I would like to thank all the players that participated in the Tier 1 tryout process. It has been an extremely difficult decision. I couldn't have done it without the assistance of my evaluators. There were many qualities that they looked for during the tryouts to ensure that 17 players come together as a team. I relied heavily on their evaluations and observations to make this team.

Hi Families, Thank you to all the skaters that came out today.  It continues to be a very difficult decision and I wish those players not moving on the best of luck during the Tier 2 Tryouts. Please see the list below for players that are moving on to the next tryout.  Coach Mike
