After an exciting, emotional and character building 3 to 2 overtime loss to the Bandits, in a game that saw every boy give it everything they had.  Our boys never stopped working and continued to support their teammates long after the final whistle.  Great job boys, we're all super proud of your achievements thus far this year.  Next up Alliance weekend.

The boys had another tremendous weekend full of continued success, rebounding from some early 2017 disappointments to demonstrate their skill and speed. After an earlier draw with the Cambridge Hawks they met again in the final.   Despite our boys carrying the play Cambridge proved to be their equal and an early goal turned out to be the winner, while they added an empty netter with time winding down.  Our Hawks never quit and still had yet another scoring chance with 8 seconds to go.  Great job boys and please continue to bring the same excitement and work ethic as we continue to move ...

212 Degrees Fahrenheit.  That's the temperature that water boils at and when water boils it creates steam.  Steam can power a Train. It's Playoff time and time to get this train rolling......so turn that burner on, let it boil and stay off the tracks, this West team is leaving the station.  Next stop success.

The Major Peewee MD team proved again this weekend that intensity, hard work and determination pays off.  With just a small stumble vs. North the boys regrouped and won the championship of the Blue & White tournament.  The boys sacrificed, out hustled and dominated large portions of the weekends play scoring 33 goals and only surrendering 2, with our goaltenders recording 4 shutouts over the 5 games played. Another job well done, you made us all proud Hawks.

After a opening game loss the boys regrouped and took the long 6 game route to becoming eventual champions of the Ace Bailey AE Tournament in Stoney Creek this past weekend.  Despite injuries and difficult calls against the boys all maintained their focus on the ultimate goal and today can now proudly wear their championships rings with pride.  Great job Hawks, a job well done now enjoy the hardware.  However next practice back to work.
