Hawks Hang on for Road Win
SARNIA (CP) -- Hats off to Nate!With the team’s first hat-trick of the season, Nate helped lead the minor atom West London Hawks to a 5-4 road win over the Sarnia Sting Wednesday night.
LucasM scored twice to round out the Hawks offence.
Keeping pace with his brother, Theo was strong on defence along with Gavin and Chris. The Hawks again killed off a late-game penalty to preserve the win, just as they did three days earlier in Sarnia.
The Hawks will play the hard-working Sting for the third time this week, on Saturday at Kinsmen Arena at 3:15. (Team pictures are at noon Saturday at Nichols Arena.)
Despite having played the fewest games in their division, the Hawks sit in third place with a 4-2-2 record.
