Major Midget, 2015-2016, MD (West London Minor Hockey)

The West London Hawks Midget MD team went unbeaten this weekend on their way to becoming Alliance Midget MD Tier 2 CHAMPIONS!!!  With 7 players from STA heading off to the OFSAA Championships early Sunday, the boys dug deep in the Semis against Oakridge and the Finals against Hamilton to bring the hardware home for the whole team to enjoy!!!! Great job boys!!!

The boys went into Bradford and played some great hockey. After going undefeated in the 4 game round robin, they came up just short in the semi final after outshooting Ajax 33-11. We saw solid goaltending from Andrew and Darcy, and a full team effort in all games. MVP for the tournament was Zach Douglas. Let's keep it going boys!

Could I ask that one parent from each family attend a brief meeting prior to practice on SUNDAY OCTOBER 4TH @ 7:45 at KINSMEN prior to practice. Thanks in advance.

Thank you to everyone who tried out. As I mentioned, the decisions were difficult given the number of players returning to West London from the Jr Knights program. All players left it all on the ice last night, and I was very impressed with the effort displayed. If you do not see your name on the list below, you have the option of trying out for the MD Bandits team which is need of players. I wish you the best with your season. For those that have been chosen for the team, I look forward to a great year. We will have a team meeting prior to the first team practice, details to follow.
