West London Dodge Minor Novice 3B, 2015-2016, MD (West London Minor Hockey)

It all started on September 18th when 16 individuals stepped on the ice at Komoka Arena to become 1 team! Over the past 206 days their motto was: Together  Everyone Achieves  More 

Congratulations to the Minor Novice B Team for an amazing season!! The parents and coaches couldn't be more proud of the effort, dedication, and sportsmanship that our 16 boys put forth over the last 7 months. The development has been amazing to watch. The players passion for the game is obvious every time they step on the ice for a practice or game.

It is with great pride to announce that the Minor Novice B team brought home the Gold in the Silver Minor Novice Division at the Byron Optimist Competitive Tournament. After the round robin play our boys were seeded 1st overall with three wins and a tie. We beat the North York Knights in the semi finals. The Championship game was action packed. The boys worked hard to secure a 4-2 win over a very good Barrie Colts team. Congratulations to all of the boys for their hard play! You once again came together as a team! The West London Minor Novice B Team had the opportunity to participate in the 2016 Cujo Invitational Tournament.  This tournament consisted of 32 teams from across Ontario and even some from the United States.  The boys had an extremely successful tournament and ended up placing 3rd overall.  They played hard as a team on the ice and had lots of fun as a team off the ice. Each player should be very proud of their accomplishment over the weekend. Congratulations to the Minor Novice B Team for being the Finalists at the Wayne Gretzky International Tournament!  The boys played 7 exciting hockey games.  They passed the puck, skated hard and worked as a team to bring home the silver medal. Each player should be proud of their hard work, determination, grit and amazing sportsmanship.  The boys all enjoyed receiving their medals from Walter Gretzky and having their picture taken with him. Thank you to all the coaches for all their hard work and dedication over the past 4 days and the season so far.  Keep up the hard work!
