Congradulations Hawks, a great weekend full of awesome accomplishments against talent that was sometimes older and often bigger.  Your heart, determination and sportsmanship rose to the top and the gold medals were a well deserved reward for an outstanding job done.  Great work boys, you made us all proud.

Congradulations to everyone on a successful Alliance hockey season.  I appreciate that the playoffs didn't bring the same success as the regular season or the four tournaments that seen the boys compete in three finals and win the West tourney.  What sometimes here late in the season felt like a roller coaster of emotions allowed the boys to gain valuble skills and understanding of the game, and an appreciation that it is still just that a game.  Over the next couple weeks we will take the opportunity to play some of the regions OMHA competition and continue to build upon the relationships ...

Congratulations Hawks on winning the Bronze division of the 2016 Byron Optimist Competive Tournament.  The effort and determination was apparent as the boys committed themselves to the goal of bringing home the hardware.   Coaches, Parents and Families couldn't have been prouder as the clock ticked down and the gloves flew.  Great job boys, next up Playoffs. 

This weekend away was full of fun new experiences and the growth of new friendships, all sourrounding a wonderful weekend of successful hockey on the ice at the MD Challenge Cup in Burlington.  Many boys began to let their personalities shine through while demonstrating their new found confidence on the ice and the outcome was apparent.  An undefeated round robin followed by a exciting win in the semi final seen the boys compete in their second tournament final in two weeks.  The frowns of defeat were quickly replaced with the memories of great pool moments and outstanding mini stick ...

The West London Minor Novice 3A Hawks this weekend continued to learn more about themselves and the game inside the game as they progressed all the way to the A final of the Bob Stark Classic, unfortunately coming up short to the Kitchener Jr. Rangers. They displayed a fabulous team spirit and enthusiasm and translated that into great puck hunger and want to win. The boys achieved several small personal rewards along the way by together keeping the goals against low, defending and back checking amazingly while holding their positions and putting the puck in the opponents net.  Great job boys ...
