Alliance Hockey releases more info surrounding Interlock Program
Minor
Development West and East Central Interlock will take place at the following age
divisions, Major Atom, Minor Peewee, Peewee, Bantam, Minor Midget and
Midget. At the June structure meeting a
proposal was put forward for the West to interlock with the East Central when a
West league consisted of 5 teams or less.
The proposal was put forward for variety of competition with the plan to create double headers where possible between East and West Interlock and to finish interlock games in October and November when travel is good. The Interlock will be one game against the East teams, with the exception of Minor Midget (2 teams in the West) and Midget (3 teams in the West) where schedules will be balanced with equal number of home and away games. Minor Midget and Midget will be Seeded Tier 1 and 11 after league play. Major Midget will conclude their season March 3-5 in a location TBA.
