West London Major Peewee MD and Major Novice MD2 change North London Blue and White Tournament to Gold!
Submitted By Brady Parr on Monday, November 21, 2016
The West had another successful run over this past weekend! Our Major Peewee MD team proved again that intensity, hard work and determination pays off.  With just a small stumble against North, the boys regrouped and won the championship of the Blue & White tournament.  The boys sacrificed, out hustled and dominated large portions of the weekends play scoring 33 goals and only surrendering 2, with our goaltenders recording 4 shutouts over the 5 games played.

As well, our Major Novice MD team took it all the way to the top! The started off with a 12-0 win overy Erindale.  Then to win 6-2 over North and Sarnia 6-4 in round robin to finish 1st in the pool. Finally they played Sarnia in the championship to a hard fought game by a very good opponent and prevailed 4-3 in a 4 on 4 overtime thriller.  The kids played hard with some excellent goaltending, stellar defence, and relentless offense.  Everyone contributed and it was an excellent team win.

Huge congrats everyone!! Amazing weekend!
