GLHA MD Program Interlock Update for 2016/2017 Season

This upcoming season will bring something exciting and new to our fall portion of MD scheduling. We will be extending our loop of opponents to both Central and East division teams for October and November only including Hamilton, Stratford, Kitchener, Burlington, Waterloo, Cambridge and St. Catharines. 

The Interlock program will give our West teams the opportunity to test their strengths within a larger playing field. This program will take place between October and November only in an effort to avoid nasty winter weather as you can expect there will be some additional travelling involved for all of our West teams . Interlock will include divisions ranging from Major Atom to Midget. We will make an effort to schedule "Double Headers" as an effort to minimize our travelling and maximize our additional time spent on the road above and beyond our regular season.  See below for specifics:


Major Atom - Regular Season Interlock to be played in October & November.
- West London goes to the East - 7 Games - @ Brantford @ Burlington Red & @ Burlington White @ Cambridge @ Hamilton Red & @ Hamilton White @ St. Catharines.
- Potential for THREE Double Headers - 2 in Burlington, 2 in Hamilton, St.Catharines,  and Brantford.
- Central comes to West London - 4 Games in total - Kitchener 2 games and Waterloo 2 games

Minor PeeWee - Regular Season Interlock to be played in October & November.
 - West London goes to the East - 7 Games - @ Brantford @ Burlington Red & @ Burlington White @ Cambridge @ Hamilton Red & @ Hamilton White @ St. Catharines.
 - Potential THREE Double Headers - 2 in Burlington, 2 in Hamilton, St.Catharines & Brantford.
 - Central comes to West London - 4 Games - Kitchener x 2, Waterloo x 2.

Major PeeWee
 - Regular Season Interlock to be played in October & November.
 - West London goes to the East/Central - 6 Games - @ Brantford @ Burlington Red @ Cambridge, @ Kitchener Red @ Waterloo White @ Woodstock.
 - Potential TWO Double Headers - Burlington & Brantford, Kitchener & Waterloo.
 - Central/East comes to West London - 5 Games - Burlington White, Hamilton Red & Hamilton White, Kitchener Blue, & Waterloo Black

Minor Bantam - no change - West vs West

Major Bantam - Regular Season Interlock to be played in October & November.
 - West London goes to the East/Central - 4 Games - @ Hamilton Red & @ Hamilton White @ Kitchener Blue & @ Kitchener Red
 - Potential for Double Header in Hamilton. 
 - Central/East comes to West London - 4 Games - Burlington, Brantford, Waterloo White, & Waterloo Black

Minor Midget - West London has no team.

Major Midget - as per last year. Full interlock season, Final Weekend.
