offering a training course developed by LHSC on how to stop traumatic bleeds
that can arise from a skate blade cut:

Additional
information: Sessions will be an
hour long, with a 30 minute presentation and 30 minute hands-on portion where
they would teach how to identify, control, and stop life-threatening bleeds
with direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet use.
Each session is required to have a minimum of
10 participants to run to a maximum of 15 participants. Sign up for these
sessions will be first come, first serve. In the event we have additional
interest, we will offer more sessions.
