Saturday, October 25th is
the second annual
Hawktoberfest! Yes, you read that correctly! Join us
at Startech.com Arena for some great hockey and community building fun as we
round out the first full month of the hockey season!
There is a little something for
everyone on this day! For those with a craving for some fine cuisine, food
trucks (Brannigans Fish & Chips and Triniman Kitchen) will be present from
11-5. For the curious minds, various vendors will be around, including 3D
Classroom and their 3D printer technology.
What about the children you say!?
There will be a kid’s area with fun games and colouring activities. Let’s not
forget, there will be a lot of competitive hockey all day long. The first game
kicks off at 1230pm with the U10s taking on the Brantford 99ers. U18 Gold finishes
out the day with a 730pm game versus the Waterloo Wolves!

Herm’s Sports will be on
site with Hawks gear which players can try on to get sized up for purchase.
With the new season starting and Christmas around the corner, this is a perfect
opportunity to refresh your Hawks wardrobe for the whole family!
We will be collecting coats and new
socks to help the local shelters as we head into winter. Please donate what you
can.
Plan to spend some time at the
rink cheering on all our West teams! Players and families are encouraged to
make signs, bring some noise and help us celebrate the day!
