GLHA Covid-19 Provincial Response System Update
Submitted By Brady Parr on Sun 11 15, 20
On November 13 the Minister of Health, Christine Elliott, announced that as of Monday, Middlesex London will be moved to the yellow “protect” category of the province’s COVID-19 response system.  This change comes as a reflection of the rising cases of COVID-19 in our community.  While the move to yellow does result in further restrictions for many sectors, no changes to our hockey program are required at this time.

At this time the GLHA will not be limiting parents into the arena.
We ask that all coaches, parents, and players continue to follow
all guidelines set out by our hockey association and the
Middlesex London Health Unit.  It will take a collective effort to
ensure we continue to provide a safe hockey environment for our children.
The GLHA will continue to monitor the situation and will notify you if any
changes to programming are required.  Thank you for all of your efforts
and commitment during these unprecedented times.

Attached is a video outlining the rules and procedures as a visual reference
for players, coaches and parents. Thank you to Chris Ferguson, Bob McClinchey
and team for creating this video.
