Submitted By Brady Parr on Tuesday, July 16, 2019
On July 1st, 2019, Rowan's Law (Concussion Safety), 2018 comes into effect. This new law makes it mandatory for all sports organizations to do the following:

2. Establish a removal-from-sport (RFS) and return-to-sport (RTS) protocol

3. Establish a concussion code of conduct that sets out rules of behaviour to support concussion prevention

The review of concussion awareness resources and concussion codes of conduct are expected to be in place by July 1, 2019.

The rules for RFS and RTS are expected to be in place by July 1, 2020.
