Welcome to the Minor Midget MD tryouts
With the calendar officially marking the two week period before our first skate, I thought it would be a good time to introduce some details of our tryout process as well as provide a slight overview of our season moving forward.
Our tryout times are available on our team calendar. We will be playing in at least two exhibition games as part of our overall evaluation process. We will have independent evaluators out watching to provide input throughout our skates. Please do keep an eye on our ice times as they can change last minute at times.
Our season will consist of two out of town tournaments, two local tournaments, as well as the hope to participate in Alliance Championship weekend.
The Minor Midget year is a year of transition for many of our student athletes. This is a competitive team, and there is a certain amount of time that will be required of our players who successfully navigate the tryout process. We will expect a certain level of commitment from these players in order to have a positive experience for all this year.

Finally I am really excited to get the season underway, based on our tryout numbers it looks like we will have the ability to ice a team that will be able to compete well. I look forward to seeing everyone in September.
