The WEST LONDON - BYRON OPTIMIST Tournament (Formerly BMO ) will be held from Friday, January 31 to Sunday February 2nd, 2014
All registrations for this tournament will take place on-line through Thriva and will be filled on a “first come - first served basis.” It is anticipated that this tournament will be filled early again this year so please register as soon as possible!!

A $200.00 deposit is required to register. 

Teams will receive acceptance once registration has been received.
All remaining fees must be paid by DECEMBER 15th to guarantee entry

CSTT is the Official Sports Travel Company of West London Hockey and is theONLYcompany authorized to book hotel rooms for our tournament. If you do not book your rooms with CSTT you will not be accepted into our Tournament.


The following hotels have been removed from our approval list, due to service concerns. Team staying at any of these hotels will not be accepted into our Tournament

  • Airport Inn

The tournament entry fee will be $925.00 which guarantees at least three (3) games and free gate admission to the entire tournament. Details of the tournament rules will be provided upon receipt of your registration, however you should note the following:

1) The tournament is designed exclusively for “A “and “MD / Select HL” Teams in all categories from Novice to Midget 

All "A" divisions except Minor Novice, Novice, Minor Atom and Atom will be body checking.
All MD / HL Select Divisions will be Non Body Checking. ( Note: If ALL teams entered in a division normally play Body checking the divison will include Body Checking)

2) The Minor Novice (2006's) and Novice (2005's) will be divided into 2 or 3 divisions to accommodate the various levels. 

3) Tournament committee reserves the right to place teams in division deemed suitable based on league standings. 

4) Only players carded or AP’s rostered to your team will be allowed to play. All teams must provide stamped player cards or rosters prior to their first game. Use of illegal/ineligible players will result in the forfeiture of the game. 

5) Each team must have a National Certified Trainer and Coach on the bench for all games. 

Games will be played at Western Fair, Argyle, Carling, Kinsmen, Stronach and Nichols Arena, London.

Teams must be prepared to play on Friday, January 31st starting at 10:00 AM and may be required to play 2 games on that day

COST: 
$ 925.00 team (This includes free admission for all spectators) All teams will be guaranteed a minimum of 3 games.

CATEGORIES: 
The tournament will include an "A" and “MD / Select HL” Division for all categories from Novice to Midget 

All "A" divisions except Minor Novice, Novice, Minor Atom, Atom, Minor Peewee and Peewee will be body checking.
All MD / HL Select Divisions will be Non Body Checking. ( Note: If ALL teams entered in a division normally play Body checking the divison will include Body Checking)
 
ALL Teams require a National Certification coach and trainer on the bench at all times. 

FORMAT: 
All teams guaranteed 3 games. At least 50% of teams advance to next round. 

GAME LENGTH: 
10-10-15 
Clock will run at straight time in 3rd period when goal difference is more than 5 goals. 

REFUNDS:
 
There will be no refunds for any reason unless a replacement team is found. If a replacement team is found, you will be charged a $100 administration fee from your original entry fee.

MINOR PEEWEE A, MD/Select 
-11 Years of age or younger as of December 31, 2013

MAJOR PEEWEE A, MD/Select 
- 12 Years of age or younger as of December 31, 2013

MINOR BANTAM A, MD/Select 
-13 Years of age or younger as of December 31, 2013

MAJOR BANTAM A, MD/Select

Tournament Committee will decide on placement of entries into Major or Minor Divisions for all minor/major mixed teams and select teams. 

ALL "A" DIVISIONS EXCEPT MINOR NOVICE, NOVICE, MINOR ATOM, ATOM, MINOR PEEWEE and PEEWEE WILL BE BODY CHECKING.
ALL MD / SELECT HL DIVISONS WILL BE NON-CHECKING. (NOTE: If ALL teams entered in a division normally play Body Checking the Division will include Body Checking)
 

ALL TEAMS REQUIRE A NATIONAL CERTIFICATION COACH AND TRAINER ON BENCH FOR ALL GAMES. 

Please complete player and coaches list on line by DECEMBER 15th. 

APPROVED (STAMPED) rosters or cards from your governing body and a copy of your travel permits must be presented at registration before your first game. 

A $200.00 Deposit is required to receive acceptance into this tournament. 
Outstanding fees must be received by December 15th. Teams paying only a Deposit must provide a credit card number which will be used if fees not paid by the deadline.
