Welcome back Hawks,
Well it's that time again and hockey is in full blown mode. I'm looking forward to seeing all the kids back and ready for a great season of hockey. There are many great things to look forward to this year as hockey returns to normal.
During the summer there has been some changes to the way that competitive hockey in West London is run. We are being renamed as B/BB instead of MD. This will allow the competitive teams to enter more tournaments.
The next big announcement is that B/BB (MD) hockey is now going to a seeded format. We will play every team in the loop once (St. Catherine's to Sarnia). So, this means there is quite a bit more travel this year compared to past years. After Christmas, the division will be balanced and the top teams will play each other and same will go for the bottom teams.
Tournaments have been booked this year as well. We are currently in 3 tournaments and Alliance Championships. The tournaments and location are as follows;
HUSKIES’ TIM HORTONS TOURNAMENT, November 25-27
Buffalo New York - Winter Ice Experience, January 20 - 22, 2023 (**Make sure your passports are up to date)
Doug Jarrett Memorial Tournament - January 27-29, 2023
Alliance Championships will be held in St.Catherine's
