I’d like to start by thanking all the players and families who took part in this year’s Minor Novice MD tryouts. The players’ skill, effort and focus made the selection process extremely difficult. Having been fortunate enough to help coach the majority of the players over the last few years, I’m tremendously proud of how hard they all worked and how far they have all come!
For those players who don’t find their name on the roster…keep working hard and having fun! This is merely the first year of competitive hockey and there will be many more opportunities and hockey seasons ahead! Stay positive and continue to work as hard as you did during tryouts…you should all be very proud of yourselves! If anyone is looking for feedback please feel free to reach out to me via email on Thursday (24 hour rule).
It would be remiss of me if I did not send a big thank you out to all involved in the Minor Novice development skates and MD tryout process. The number of volunteers required to run a smooth program is significant and I can’t thank you all enough for your time and support throughout the process!

Parents of those players selected, please note that we have a busy Saturday Oct 5th ahead...MD team pictures will take place at Nichols Arena at 10:30 AM. Following pictures we have our first team practice at Bostwick from 12:30-1:20 PM. At some point on Saturday I’d also like to hold our team/parent meeting to discuss the season ahead and get things rolling. I will send an email with more details shortly.
