Minor Atom MD Tryouts
Hockey season excitement is in the air -- with the new rink looking great and the London Knights and London Nationals back on the ice preparing for their seasons. I think its safe to say its GO TIME!
The Minor Atom MD Hawks will hit the ice for their first tryout next Tuesday September 4th @ 5:30pm at the new Bostwick Community Center.
Just a few things to remember as we go through this process...
1. It can be a stressful time (sometimes more so for the parents)...remember to keep things positive & fun.
2. Look on the dressing room doors for your room assignment and your jersey #....ALL JERSEYS NEED TO BE HUNG UP ON THE HANGER AND LEFT IN THE DRESSING ROOM AFTER EACH SKATE....NO JERSEYS GO HOME.
3. Bring your own water bottle to the ice.
4. All players should be dressed 15 minutes prior to the skate to allow time for any instructions.
5. Throughout tryouts be expected to play different positions than what you have normally played.
6. Our first player release will take place after our tryout on September 8th.
7. During tryouts listen to all coaches to make sure the process runs very smooth.
8. The evaluators will be looking at many things during the tryouts including (but not limited to) Skill Set, Work Ethic, Coachability, Hockey Sense, Attitude, Body Language, etc.
