The Week Ahead
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to thank everyone for participating in a busy weekend. The coaches are really excited to work with these young men. As I mentioned at the parent meeting we are a little behind in terms of being completely organized. I am happy to announce that we have our Management team. Thanks to Chris Oxner and Jess Davis, who are going to share this position. We are in the midst of getting a team group email together for communication. If you still need to submit your contact information please do so as soon as you can. There will be some time sensitive items to look after from a parent perspective, please respond accordingly.
As some of the boys may have indicated we we do have an ex. game in Dorchester on Wednesday. Puck drop 730. The water bottle order has been placed tonight. I figured at 11 dollars we would be OK with that. We can build it into the team budget.
This Saturday I am pleased to announce we will be going to Boler Mountain for some team building. We will doing the treetop adventure park and the big Zip. I was able to get a good rate at 39 dollars. 10 dollars off the regular amount per person. Please have the boys there by 1250 on Saturday. My understanding as it takes about 2+ hours to complete. I will get a better idea before Saturday.
All of our players decided on the numbers they will wear this year. Coach Jake said this went smoothly. Thanks to our players for making the transition a rather painless one. Katie fox has already got our first fundraising idea up, we just have to get it running! It is the hockey pool fundraiser again so it is time sensitive as well. If you are interested in being part of the Fundraising group please make it known to Katie.
