Good Morning,
Again, I want to thank all the players and parents for
taking part in these try-outs. This was
a very difficult week for me and I know it was just as hard on all of you. I’m proud of all the effort and compete I
witnessed from the 35 players that participated in my tryouts.
I would also like to thank all the evaluators and ice helpers, for helping with this tryout and picking the team. I had great feedback from you, and really relied on what you saw in each player.
I asked a lot of my players to play different positions throughout the tryouts. The scrimmages were set up that each player would have a chance to play every position. I tried to put players in positions where I thought they would compete best in the Exhibition games, and challenge for a spot on this team. I also put many of my players from last year in different positions to test what they are capable of and to try a few things.
For the players that didn’t make this final roster. I want you to know that you are a Great Hockey Player. Remember what I told all of you. Practice is where you develop and improve...the game is where you showcase it. Continue to work hard this season and come out next year. You will be great players and leaders for your teams this year. Work hard, Play hard and Love the game.
