West B8 - Tournament Champs in Woodstock
The Major Bantam B8 West London Hawks participated in the annual Alf Langdon Tournament in Woodstock over the Christmas holidays. Every player should be proud - you represented yourselves and your association with class in victory!
The team played fantastic and brought home the gold with a flawless 5-0 record and a total goal differential of 32-1. Way to go Hawks! All 3 lines, Liam & the Lancers, the Lawyers and HOTline Bling, all contributed with outstanding passing and highlight reel goals. Our defense was incredible, using the large ice surface to control the puck and were definitely an important part of the offense scheme. Rarely did any opponent have any puck time in our zone. Nick Andary (or Floyd the Goalie to his fans) was extremely sharp and focussed the entire tournament and ready when called upon. The 'alleged' one goal against is still under review. On to Brantford for the Walter Gretzky tournament January 8th!!
