Davison Throws Out Rulebook, Team Ties it in Last Minute
Led by their villainous [;)]coach John Davison, West C4 scored three unanswered goals in the third period to tie the Hawks in the game's dying seconds. The Hawks played a good first two periods, using their team speed to good effect and creating turnovers, but stopped skating in the third and got burned accordingly.

There were lots of positives in this game for the Hawks. Player of the game Owen Worby hustled all night and was rewarded with three points on the score sheet, and the same was true of Worby's frequent linemate Theo Enns. Matt DiCicco had a good game on the boards, and there were some nice plays by the other forwards as well, including Jacob Bamford who turned in a strong effort and got a goal. On defence, Pyper Baker had a good night forcing the C4 forwards wide and moving the puck up the ice; in net, Zach Read made several big saves, including a nice glove stop on C4's first shot of the game.

Positives aside, however, once again the Hawks were guilty of taking their foot off the gas, and they allowed C4 to roar back and tie the game. Perhaps further conditioning might be needed at Monday's practice..... Stay tuned!
