Hawks Win Edge Again Cup AAA Tournament!
WLMHA Major Novice 1 team win the Edge Again Cup AAA tournament.
Congratulations to the Major Novice 1 team on their tournament victory. After losing a tight game, 4-3, to the York-Simcoe Express in a round robin game the Hawks went on to win 4 straight games. They defeated Ajax-Pickering Raiders, Clarington Toros, the host Whitby Wildcats in a 5-4 overtime win and then a re-match against York-Simcoe Express with a 5-3 victory in the final game. Congratulations to all of the boys for a very exciting weekend. A special congratulations to Jagan Chanderdat for being named tournament MVP. What a great way to kick off the season!
