Making it to the Final Tryout
Thanks again for a great game today.
As I told the players today, if the team what we had on the ice today was our final team for the year I would be very pleased with the level of play and talent that we have on our team. Unfortunately there were still choices to make and players to release. This process has been extremely difficult with each decision getting tougher and tougher as the level of the players is so close and they are all great kids.
That being said we do have to move forward and select the final team this coming weekend. Players moving forward to the final tryout are as follows:

For those players not listed above thank you once again for your work and effort during the tryout process. I am confident that players released today will be a strong force on the Novice 2 team and you will have an amazing year.
For those players remaining there are still two players that will be released after Saturday's final tryout. All players are reminded to bring their best effort with them on Saturday. This will be the toughest decision of all this year. All of the evaluators have commented on how difficult this decision will be. We will be looking for the players that give their best effort the entire practice and who want it the most. Those that work hard at both ends of the ice and listen to both on and off ice instruction.
