DS1 / Development 1: What you Need to Know
- All competitive Coaches included on official team rosters that are on the bench for Seeded and MD teams MUST have minimum DS1 and Respect in Sport certifications.
- If you are a House League Head Coach, you're required to also have the DS1 and Respect in Sport certifications.
- The DS1 is a full weekend clinic starting at 7:30am each day with in class and with ice time on the Sunday.
- Lunch and beverages are provided both days.
- The cost for Coaches to obtain the DS1 certification is $220. The Coach is required to make payment to the Oakridge Minor Hockey Association a minimum of 5 days prior to attending the clinic.
- Dates for this years DS1 clinics have been scheduled and are noted below.
- To request a spot in one of the DS1 sessions please email the Clinic Director - Melissa Cornelius - via the Oakridge website with the following information:

- Speak out # or Respect in Sport confirmation
- Confirmation of spot will follow as soon as the GLHA confirms registration which may be up until a week before the session
